The 18th century Colmer Estate was once a thriving timber mill, now with the various mill buildings converted into 20 luxury holiday  homes.  Set in 28 acres of beautiful and peaceful private grounds with sweeping lawns and gravelled pathways there is a variety of wildlife that makes Colmer a nature lover’s paradise of meadows, woodland and water meadows.

The water gardens and lake attract hundreds of species of birds, butterflies and dragonflies.  Badgers have set up home within the estate and foxes, deer, bats, squirrels, hedgehogs, rabbits and occasional stray cows are among many of the animals that can be regularly spotted.

The heated indoor pool is open March to November, and the outdoor pool is heated end May to mid September.

The hard tennis court is open all year around, with basket ball hoop  available.
